- Mission Statement
The FutureShok: 2020 webring was created on January 20th, 1998, because some of the older webrings have fallen behind, and their ringmasters have moved on or just haven't got the time to update the ring as it should be. We intend to provide the best possible service, and failing that, to turn the webring over to someone who can.
Our goal as the FutureShok: 2020 webring is to provide an excellent collection of
CyberPunk: 2020 and related websites for the public, as well as providing a way for these
websites to promote each other. We also dedicate ourselves to provide updates twice weekly
at least, and if we feel that a site does not belong in the ring, we will not lie and tell
them that they will be added "on the next update" and never do it.

- WebSite Criteria
- To become a member of the FutureShok: 2020 Webring, sites must meet the following criteria:
- Must be primarily about CyberPunk, CyberPunk 2020 or CyberPunk 3.
- More than 50% of the site has to be dedicated to material instead of links.
- Must be updated at least once each year.
- Must have the FutureShok: 2020 Webring code fragment on either the
front page or a clearly marked webrings or affiliations page linked to from the main page.
