MonoSpider
Remote Assassination Unit

The MonoSpider was designed as direct competition for Arasaka's RDAK Spy & Assassin Remote (Chrome Book 2, page 32). Unlike the RDAK, the MonoSpider is not so much designed for stealth, but for messy killing. In it's undeployed state it looks like a disc of metal with several struts radiating from the central point (the activation button). On one face of the disc is a magnetic attachment for using it as a limpet mine. When deployed it has 6 maneuverable legs, each tipped with a mono-edged blade, that can also be used as crude manipulators. On the balls of the "feet" the MonoSpider has a molecular adhesive that allows it to climb walls and ceilings. Around the circumference of the unit are a series of micro video receptors with thermographic resolution.

When the unit is not active, with it's legs tucked in, it is nigh invulnerable - with it's hard carapace it can survive falls of over 200 feet. Although it's ceretronic system is somewhat less complex than Arasaka's, it is also programmed to work as an autonomous unit, attacking any moving object with the general temperature of a human within 10 feet of it once activated in autonomous mode. It also has Cookie Cutter hardware built in to avoid attacking it's handlers.

Treat the MonoSpider as an RDAK remote in all other ways (reaction to EMP, microwavers and MagFields, remote rules, etc)
