Description :
Olga is a classical beauty, with a shapely body and a delicate face, remarkably untouched by her 45
years. However, her eyes are forever closed, sewn shut with black wire. She moves gracefully, and her
voice is soft, with a cristalline laugh that often underline other's mistakes.
History :
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but Ms. Sechkina is no longer part of our company. As a matter of fact,
she's dead. Excuse me ? To insinuate that we could have anything to do with her death is not only
outrageous, it is diffamating ! If you check the company records, you'll see that she died in the
explosion of her laboratory, together with four other members of our research personnel. All our files
on the subject are cristal clear. Now, is there any other question ?"
Mr Johnson, UCS PR officer
Olga Sechkina was born in a poor rich family, in St-Petersburg. She was a genius child, astounding
both teachers and scientists with the pertinence of her questions. In 1994, her parents sold her to
Zetatech for an undisclosed sum. After a long druged night, Olga awoke in a strange building, alone
with strangers. They had to use restraints on her for two years, and she was dismissed as a failure,
then sold to a small company called Unified Cybernetics Systems.
UCS psychologists were just as ruthless as Zetatech's, but far more subtle. Deriving from Olga's
childhood interests, they finally managed to awaken her interest in science, and then research. From
then on, Olga's entire life revolved around her studies. She became one of the first scientist to
have tangible success in ceretronics, the mixing of biological neurons and electronics. Her mental
health, none too good to begin with, began to crumble as her obsession with research worsened. Her
research first led, in 2018, to the creation of the Hecatonshire, a perfect interface between man
and machine. Many other scientists were distrustful of her claim, which led her to have the surgery
performed on herself. No-one knows for sure what happened, but when the surgical sheets were removed
from her face, she screamed as a sudden electrical impulse burnt her eyes, optical nerves and vision
center. Hecatonshires was nonetheless considered a success, and went into production two months later.
Olga started relying on small drones to replace her lost eyes. She submerged herself deeper and deeper
into her research, rarely leaving the lab now, working days and nights while absently petting her
metallic companions. Finally, in 2019, she achieved the ultimate interface, the one that directly
links a computer to a human brain, not simply for data exchange as does a cybernetic link, but in a
total symbiosis. The theory was complete, all she needed were human brains - but not just any human
brain. For her experiment to be worthwile, she felt superior brains were needed to be linked with
the machine she had conceived.
She killed the four scientists who were working with her, caused a massive explosion in the lab and
disappeared in Night City's combat zone. There, she linked the brains and the machine, and started
the next step in her research. She now lives in a luxury condo buried deep inside the combat zone,
surrounded by her drones, dozens of clicking and whirring creations crawling around her like ants
around their Queen. From time to time, she goes on a rampage, attacking and pillaging to secure enough
money for her experiments. Not long ago, she connected with the Grand Bozo. In the depth of their
respective psychosis, they found a strange understanding, and as they contact each other more and more
often, a twisted flower of love starts blossoming in the Zone...
